The Disposable Heroes Project 100 mile ultra-marathon began on the outskirts of St. Bernard Parish a little after 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010. The Disposable Heroes Project’s Marine Sgt. Brad Mckee and several of his fellow service men began the run in honor of those who had been wounded in battle and for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this great country. For thirty-two grueling hours, Marine Sgt. Brad Mckee kept one foot in front of the other until he reached his destination in Hammond, Louisiana.             Read more in the blog....
